My Fellow Israelite:
Recently, I brought to your attention the case of Dr. Walsh, a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor/ Physician, who is the current Public Health Director for the City of Pasadena, CA. It is with sadness that I share the news that Dr. Walsh’s job offer letter was rescinded by his future employers simply on the grounds of his Theology!
Dr. Walsh is a Black Scientist & Theologian, and the location where he has been recently offered a job has the Whitest population in that State — North Georgia. According to the news release: “The North Georgia Health District covers Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens and Whitfield counties.” — http://onlineathens.com
All these Northern GA Counties have white populations ranging from 62.2% to 96.1%, and this demographic chose to hire a black man as their region’s Public Health Director, showing that his race was not a factor! But prejudice and discrimination of a baser sort is now standing in his way—His religious convictions against the homosexual, same-sex marriage agenda! They have stalked him from Pasadena CA to Atlanta GA, and he is being hounded and treated like a pedophile for his beliefs! And there are many people and movements who are rejoicing at this! Let’s pray for the pastor, and strengthen our resolves, because it is coming to a home and a church near you, your home or mine could very easily be the next target very soon!
I did a search on the demographics of Northern GA Counties where Dr. Walsh would have served: Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens and Whitfield counties. My aim was to see if his race had anything to do with their decision, and then even more to see if the demographic he would have been serving had any bearing on the decision made to rescind his job offer letter. Here is what the public records show:

How stunning to learn that the community he would have served has an average White, non-Hispanic population of 85%, with a LGBTQ population of 0%. This record is very telling that his race had nothing to do with the decision, because he had to have personally sat through the interview, and upon assessing all competing candidates, for this top-notch job among an employee body of 6,000, is a testimony in itself to his impeccable qualifications for the job! Observe that there are no citizens from the LGBTQ community in the area of his service.
This is reverse discrimination, now we are seeing false employment restrictions set in place, to bully Christians from expressing their convictions. At last check, no one from the LGBT community is being oppressed or denied employment for their orientation, but the same cannot be said for the many cases we see afloat, attacking Christians from their equal right to free speech!
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” Isa. 54: 17
It is my hope and prayer that the truth of this evil be revealed and exposed for the thinking public to realize that this fine doctor is being marginalized and denied access to employment because of his religious convictions, in an era of “equal opportunity employment!” Let’s not hold grudges, but learn our lesson, and learn it well, that this is only the tip of a larger iceberg. One which will restrict our buying and selling privileges on pain of death (Rev. 13: 15), except we agree to “worship” in conformance with the mark (image) of the beast system.
